Our Team.
At Play N Learn Therapy, we are dedicated sibling team with a shared mission: to provide meaningful, personalized support to children with autism, speech impairments and developmental disabilities.
As a bilingual special education teacher with a deep passion for helping children reach their full potential, I design and lead all therapy programs. I specialize in creating personalized seddions that focus on building communication, social skills, self-confidence, and emotional growth. Each program is thoughtfully developed with customized materials tailored to meet the unique needs of every child, supporting their journey of self-discovery and learning in a nurturing and engaging environment.
​Behind the scenes, my brother plays a vital role in keeping our company running smoothly. He manages the finances, logistics and operations, allowing us to focus on what matters most-supporting children and families. His dedication and support are essential to ensure that every session, every material, and every family we serve receives the highest level of care and attention.

ABOUT ME
Hi there! My name is Patricia Marti, and I am a bilingual special education teacher with a deep passion for working with children with autism and developmental disabilities. I grew up in Mexico City, surrounded by a rich blend of cultures that shaped who I am today. My mother is from Argentina Bs. As., and my father is from Mexico City with family roots extending to Spain and England. Growing up, we ofen travel as a family, which exposed me to different countries, traditions, and ways of thinking. These early experiences gave me a global appreciation for diversity, inclusion and human connection. From a young age, I felt a strong compassion for children with disabilities. I have always believed that every child has unique strengths and the ability to thrive when given the right support. That belief inspired me to pursue a career in education. I hold a bachelor's degree in education, special education, and bilingual education. I am also currently pursuing National Board Certification in Special Education and eagerly awaiting the results. As a fully bilingual educator-fluent in both Spanish and English - I understand the importance and cultural sensitivity when it comes to personalized learning. My goal has always been to create learning experiences that honor each child's individuality, strengths, and needs. That's why I founded Play N Learn, a platform dedicated to offering personalized educational services to children with autism and developmental disabilities. Throgh one-on-one sessions, children can build communication skills, develop social and emotional understanding and grow in self confidence - all in a nurturing, engaging environment. Play N Learn is more than just a site - it's a space where every child is seen, heard and supported as they discover all they are capable of becoming. I am committed to walking alongside families on this journey, providing compassionate, tailored support every step of the way. Thank you for being here. Our Story
Play N Learn Therapy was founded by a bilingual special education teacher with a lifelong passion for helping children with disabilities thrive.
My name is Patricia Marti, and I am the founder of Play N Learn Therapy, a part time educational therapy practice dedicated to supporting children with autism and developmental disabilities. From a very young age, I felt a deep sense of compassion and commitment toward children with disabilities. I dreamed of a world where every child -regardless of their challenges - could reach their fullest potential and be seen for who they truly are.
At the age of 26, while living in Chicago, Illinois, I turned that passion into action. With no easy access to websites at the time, I began by designing brochures and placing them in neighborhoods accross the city. Slowly, my first clients found me, and my journey began as an independent educational therapist. That grassroots beginning laid the foundation for what Play N Learn Therapy is today: a heartled, skillfully grounded space where children are supported through personalized educational therapy.
My academic path reflects my dedication to the field. I hold a bacheor's degree in Psychopedagogy- a unique blend of psychology and education. I also completed a specialization in Clinical Psychology at two of the best private universities in Mexico City. In the United Stated, I earn certifications in General Education, Special Education and Bilingual Education. Currently, I am in the process of obtaining my National Board Teaching Certification, always striving to expand my knowledge and improve my practice.
With 6 years of experience as an educational therapist in Mexico City and 6 years as a bilingual special education teacher, I am committed to serving children not only through the public school system but also through my private practice which is now Play N Learn Therapy. It is my way of extending that care and expertise to families who are looking for individualized, heart-centered educational support.
What sets this practice apart is the belief that we must see the whole child, not just the disability. My mission is to nurture every area of a child's development: the cognitive, emotional, social, and personal areas, because I believe true education is also about healing, empowerement and becoming the best version of ourselves.
